Distance 33 km
Elevation gain 190 m

The route starts in Čičmany, one of the best-known villages in Slovakia. Its typical painted wooden houses, mountain location and calm atmosphere create a pleasant start to the trip from the first metres.

From Čičmany, you continue towards Rajecká Lesná. The route is suitable for riders who want a calmer trip without technically difficult terrain, but do not want to stay only in the immediate surroundings of Čičmany. On an e-bike, the trip is easy to manage even with the mild climbs.

The main destination of the trip is Rajecká Lesná, known especially for the Slovak Bethlehem. It is a unique place worth visiting even if you take the route at a relaxed pace. The Bethlehem is an excellent stop for a short break, a visit and a cultural addition to your e-bike trip.

In addition to the Slovak Bethlehem, we also recommend stopping at the Calvary in Rajecká Lesná. The roughly century-old Calvary gives the trip a calmer and more spiritual character. It is a nice place for a short walk, a rest and views of the surrounding area.

Rajecká Lesná is also suitable for a longer break. You can adjust the trip according to your time — either make a short visit to the Slovak Bethlehem or allow more time for the Calvary, a walk and a calmer exploration of the village.

You return to Čičmany along the same or a very similar route. The route is suitable as a relaxed half-day trip for couples, families and smaller groups who want to combine e-bike riding, traditional villages and interesting stops without a demanding mountain loop.
